Does a live painting fit within my wedding budget?!
That’s the question you’re probably asking yourself right now as you plan your wedding in France!
It’s the latest trend for artistic wedding entertainment: having a painter create a wedding painting live. It’s so incredible to see an artist immortalize a wedding scene with their brushes in real time!
However, it’s important to distinguish between different types of live wedding painting services:
– live wedding painting that depicts a specific moment of the day
– live portraits of guests
– collaborative painting created by the guests
I’ll briefly describe each service and give a price range for these live wedding paintings.
What is the cost of a live wedding painting in France?
The cost of a live wedding painting depends on the size and the number of people depicted. The larger the painting, the more guests there are, the more time it takes to paint, and consequently, the higher the cost.
For example, my starting price for a live wedding painting is a portrait of the bride and groom, 40x50cm, for €900.
My most popular live wedding painting size is 45x60cm, depicting a general view of the ceremony, priced at €1880.

How much does a wedding book cost?
A wedding book is a record that tells the story of the wedding using watercolor illustrations. It’s also possible to add text: speeches from the best man and maid of honor, lyrics to songs that are important to the couple… A wedding book contains a minimum of 10 original watercolors; that’s what it takes to tell the story of a wedding day!

What is the cost of guest portraits for a wedding?
This is THE trendy service since 2025! Everyone wants a live artist to sketch their guests! It’s so wonderful to be able to leave with such a personal artistic souvenir! Guests love it!
I offer 3 packages:
3 hours: €900
4 hours: €1100
5 hours: €1300

What is the cost for a collaborative painting for a wedding?
This concept of collaborative painting is more geared towards getting your guests to paint! I prepare the overall look of the painting beforehand. On the wedding day, I arrive with the canvas already drawn; and throughout the day and evening, the guests take turns filling in the canvas with acrylic markers. It’s a great way to break the ice between two families who may not know each other.
I offer a 100x80cm painting (for about 100 guests) for €1900. For a larger size or more participating guests, please contact me for a price quote.

If you are planning your wedding more than 30km from Toulon, there will be additional travel fees.
